Background And Meaning of This Project

       LED illuminant belongs to cold illuminant, as well as the fourth generation of new illuminant product. With the advantage of small size, low thermal effect, brightness, low power-consuming it will become the main product for lightning. White light LED, is the most hopeful product, which has a great market potential. Compared with the present tungsten lamp, LED has the advantage of small size, low heat-radiating (without heat radiation), low power-consuming (low voltage, low currency), long-time life (over 50000hours), sensitive reaction, environment protection, and the possibility of sealing compliantly, developing light, thin, short, and small products. It also has no such disadvantages as tungsten lamp has. So experts predict, it will be the potential product to replace traditional tungsten lamp in five to seven years.

       LED illuminant is the product of high technology with a bright future. The carry out of this project will promote the development of the comprehensive utilization of Donghai’s silicon, and technology level and additional value of silicon producing.

Market Forecast

      Currently, the world’s demand for it is 8billion, so the market potential of it is very big. Inn recent years, LED has increased by 30% in our country, in which super-bright LED has increased by 50%. At the same time, our country is likely to become the main origin of LED.

Investment Budget, Scale, and the Construction Period

       The budget of this project is 100 million RMB, which will be used for workshop construction, equipment purchase and technology research and development.

       It will take two years to construct. After that, the yearly output of LED illuminant will be about 10million.

Economic Profit

       This project will realize the yearly gross sale of 500million RMB, with the tax of 141million RMB.
