20. The Project of Materials of Quartz Glass Tubes with High Infrared Radiation

1. Background and Significance of the Project

According to the relative national and international information, the infrared radiation from quartz glass tubes with high infrared radiation is more than one by around 40% from opalescent quartz glass tubes. The success of manufacture materials of quartz glass tubes with high infrared radiation, the main raw materials of infrared heaters, will trigger a technology revolution for infrared heating productions.

This project reduces the productive cost of infrared heaters, strengthens the export competition of national infrared heating parts of apparatus, and increases the national and international market share for our national infrared heating parts of apparatus. At the same time, it offers a new method for disposing technology of intermingle and transformation for our national quartz materials, which has an important significance for improving disposing technology of intermingle and for exploiting new quartz glass with particularity.

2. Market Analysis

According to the statistics from national quartz glass industrial association, there were about 4000 ton opalescent quartz glass tubes applied to producing infrared heaters in 2004 in the whole world, 2500 ton in China. At present, international products of materials of quartz glass with high infrared radiation have entered the market, however, there is no such product in China, totally depending on imports. So this project has a vast potential market.

3. Assessment of Project Investments, Scale and Period of Project Constructions

The total investment of the project reaches 12,000,000 yuan, mainly applied to the workshop constructions, equipment purchase and technology research and development.

The period of project constructions will last 17 months. The production scale can reach 100 ton per year materials of quartz glass with high infrared radiation after the completion of the project.

4. Analysis of Economic Benefits

The estimated production value of the project can reach 17,200,000 yuan per year, and its profit tax can reach 10,300,000 yuan per year.

5. Cooperation Methods

The structure of project can include joint venture, cooperation, and foreign-owned enterprises.
