1. Background and Significance of the Project

With the quick development of industries of modern constructions, traffic, energy sources, information, and decoration and the gradual improvement of people’s living level, the requests for the type, standard, quality, and functions of glass materials become more and more high. The people’s requests for flat glass has changed from just lighting and shielding from wind and rain to the many excellent functions including exceeding intension, controlled by light, regulating temperature, saving energy, sound insulation, heat insulation, resisting fire, safety, self-clean (environment protection), comfort, and so on according to surface and inner applications of altering nature of glass productions. Therefore, special types of glass such as function glass, art glass, decorated glass, safe glass, bulletproof glass, low radiation glass are created constantly to satisfy people’s various requests.

2. Market Analysis

According to the forecast, in the next six years, the purchase requirement for glass for refrigerators of international enterprises of home electronic appliance will add up to 180,000,000 pieces, and national requirement of refrigerator enterprises will be about 50,000,000 pieces of glass, then, the total gross requirement will reach 500,000,000 pieces.

3. Assessment of Project Investments, Scale and Period of Project Constructions

The total investment of the project reaches 198,460,000 yuan, mainly applied to the workshop constructions, equipment purchase and technology research and development.

The period of project constructions will last 3 years. The production scale can reach 600 ton per year special type of Low-E float glass after the completion of the project.

The estimated sales of the project can reach 500,000,000 yuan per year, and its profit tax can reach 60,000,000 yuan per year.
