1.    Background and Significance of the Project

The optic quartz glass is a kind of class composed by sio2. Because the quartz glass has the quality of permeating lights with different length of wave, heat-resistant, low expanding, good heatlibration-resistant, chemical stabilization and excellent isolation, it is used broadly in semiconductoer and electronic technology, optic conductory communication laser technology, optic equipments, scientific experiments, aviation and space flight, satellites, chemistry, electrician and metallurgy. The research of this project has very significant influence to the development of Donghai silicon material industry.

2 Forecasting to the Market Future

At present, the domestic demand is about over 5 million ton, while large amount of high quality and high quality quartz glass materials for special purposes mainly depend on import. So, the market future is very broad.

3 Investment Assessment of the project, the scope and duration of the construction.

The total investment is 12.08 million yuan, including 9.08 million yuan investment for fixed assets and 3 million yuan circulating fond.

The duration of the construction is 1 year, after which the producing capability of 100 ton quartz glass per year can be reached.

4. Analysis of the Profit

It is forecasted that the sails revenue per year is 75 million yuan with a interest and tax of 17.2 million yuan.

 The project can be completed by means of joint venture, cooperation of Chinese and foreign enterprise as well as foreign investment only.
