39. Project for Producing 10 Thousand Micro Powder of Active silicon of Micron Level Annually

1.    Background and Significance of the Project.

Epoxy colophony and micro powder of silicon dioxide are mostly used as plastic sealing of electric appliance and parts of apparatus. Added by micro powder fillings of high quality, the outer shell mechanic performances are improved, the expanding coefficient as well as the cost of plastic sealing material are reduced. The reducing of expanding coefficient is very important because the stress caused by expanding of plastic sealing materials will lead the rupture of inner down-lead, which is often made of spun gold or spun silicon and aluminum with a diameter of φ18μ.So life span of the electrocircuit or parts of apparatus, reliability, ability of anti-impact and libration strength is to a large extent depend on the plastic sealing materials. It is obviously that the micro powder of silicon is very important in developing integrate circuit and semiconductors.

2.    Market Analysis

It is forecasted that, the present demand for micro powder silicon is more than 130 thousand ton only in Japan, southeast Asian countries and areas, and the whole demand all over the world is about 500 thousand ton. Besides, according to some information, the production of integrate circuit will be 80 billion pieces in 2010, and demand for micro powder silicon will be hundreds of thousands ton.

3.    Investment Assessment of the Project, Scope and Duration of the Construction

Total investment is 14.5 million yuan, including 11 million yuan for fixed assets and 3.5 million yuan for circulating fond.

Duration of the construction is 1 year, after which a producing capability of 10 thousand micro powder of active silicon of micron level per year can be achieved.

4. Analysis of the Profit

It is forecasted that the sails revenue per year is 59 million yuan with a interest and tax of 11 million yuan.

5.Means of Cooperation

The project can be completed by means of joint venture, cooperation of Chinese and foreign enterprise as well as foreign investment only.
