41. The Project of Low painting High Purity Quartz Powder

1.    Backgrounds and significance of the Project

The quality and technology guideline is closely connected with the purity of the raw materials of quartz. If the percent impurity metal especially Fe is high, it will paint (that is fading in high temperature) during the process of producing and using of quartz glass, which is going to exert great impact to the performances and qualities of quartz glass and concerned products. Through the adulterate and purification technology, we can reduce Fe in the raw material from the current 5PPM to 0.2PPM even less. Solving the problem of changing color of quartz glass in high temperature has a significant meaning in improving the technology of dealing with quartz raw material in our country.

2.    Market Analysis

The domestic required high classes quartz glass is totally depend on import. According to a research, our country need to import nearly 15 million ton high purity raw quartz, with a price of 7-10 times of that of average material in China. after this project is developed, the quality and technology of products will reach the standard of the same kind of products abroad. Not only could it replace the imports, but it can also used on the procuring of high class quartz glass, and the producing of quartz glass needed in common industries. Hence, it has broad market future.

3.    Investment Assessment of the Project, Scope and Duration of Construction.

Total investment is 15 million yuan, which is mainly spent on workshop construction, equipments purchasing and technology development.

Duration of the project is 1 year, after which a producing capability of 10 million ton high purity low painting quartz powder can be achieved.

4. Analysis of the Profit

It is forecasted that the sails revenue per year is 60 million yuan with a

interest and tax of 200.04 million yuan.

5.Means of Cooperation

The project can be completed by means of joint venture, cooperation of Chinese and foreign enterprise as well as foreign investment only.
